When it came to contacting studios me and Beth decided to tackle the process together as we are both interested in similar studios and similar areas of design, it was also suggested by John to email places as a group rather than bombarding them with multiple emails. It also worked on a practical level as especially with the London studios in relation to accommodation with splitting costs and expenses and also eases the stress that travelling around the city alone would have caused. It also meant that by working together we were targeting double the amount of studios we would have done alone. Initially we created a model email that could be adapted depending on where we were sending it. I sent emails to studios across Leeds, London and Bristol as they related most strongly to my current situation.
